Rosales

Rosales was created as a separate municipality through a Royal Decree in 1852.

 It was named in honor of Don Antonio Rosales.
It is the birthplace of National Artist for Literature and internationally
renowned novelist Francisco Sionil Jose, it has been the setting of many of his novels including the 5 – novels  Series Rosales Saga.
